Hello everyone. I'm about to get super personal. This is hard to say/do, for so, so many reasons but it must be said/done. On October 5th, I will be walking for Team Jeremy for the Out of Darkness Walk. We all lost Jeremy to suicide almost a year ago. Jeremy was a brilliant, kind, good human being. I met Jeremy walking into his basement while he was banging on the drums to play in a band with him when I was 19, was friends with him until I was 25, and then was in a relationsh...ip with him, which had ended right before his death. It hurts, it's beyond sad, and we all miss him very much. Not a day goes by where I don't think of him. Not a day goes by where I think of what could have been done differently. Not a day goes by where "coulda shoulda woulda's" run through my head. Not a day goes by where I wish wish he wasn't in so much pain. I'm not telling you this to gain sympathy, or to feel sorry for me in any way. I'm telling you this because depression and suicide are real. Very, very real. Millions of people struggle with depression that results in suicide every day. And it is overlooked, and it needs to be recognized as a very urgent issue. On October 5th we will be honoring Jeremy's life by walking for him. Please help me in doing so by joining the walk, or by donating to an organization that wants to help. Thank you. - Sarah See more
