In God's Hands Daycare

Due to the continued snow fall, expected snow throughout the day, and reports of slick, snow covered roads, the daycare will be closed for the day. We feel that this is the best decision for the safety of our children and staff. We hope to resume our normal schedule tomorrow, but be sure to check here if the weather is questionable then too. Stay safe!

The daycare will be running on a delayed start this morning. We plan on opening at 8:00am but since it is still snowing and I am getting reports that roads have not been touched ( mine either) I may decide to close for the day. I will make the final decision by 7:15am and post here. In the mean time, please stay home and stay safe!

As of now, I am planning to open the daycare at our regular 6am time. I will reevaluate the situation when I get up at 4am. If I decide to delay opening or close for the day, I will post the decision by 5:30am. If we do open for the day, I am asking parents to have a plan in place if we decide to close early for the safety of the children and staff. It’s very hard to decide what to do because the forecasters are calling for snow until 7am Tuesday! Please send us a message on Facebook or to my phone if you know you are NOT sending your child tomorrow. If enough children are not coming, I may be able to cut back on staff so fewer people are on the roads and can stay safe. Thank you and stay safe! Dawn

Cade Reed's mom, Savannah Winner asked me to post this for her.... "I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for everything you have done for my family. You have no idea how much I appreciate everything during this difficult time. Thank you for the prayers, support, and generosity you have shared. Cade goes for another transfusion next week at Children's Hospital in Danville so please continue to pray for him. He is one tough boy and I know he can get through this. I hope everyone has a great holiday."

They daycare driveway has been plowed! That being said, during the states clean up of the main road the driveway entrance closest to the church is plowed over. We suggest everyone to take the first entrance to the daycare instead today. Also, the drop off pad is ICY. Please use caution when getting out of your vehicle. We will try our best to lay ice melt down and clear it off. Happy Friday!
