Inhale Yoga Together 21.12.2020

Happy Winter Solstice Today is the darkest day of the year, but also the day that welcomes the coming season of light Consider taking a few moments today to reflect on this year for you (we know... it’s been *a* year!) But make some cocoa or pour some wine, find your journal, and reflect. Write down anything at all that comes up. The good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, the scary, the exciting... all of it, the light and the dark. For it is from that place of knowing ...and acknowledging that you can choose what you want to illuminate. Then, tonight join Sydney and Janna for WINTER SOLSTICE YOGA. It’s a tradition we hold dear and one we can still enjoy this year and one that allows us to gather in the ways we are leaning to embrace. 6-7:30 PM $20 online Sign up on FitDegree link in profile *membership discounts apply https://share.fitdegree.com/?e=2155 #happywintersolstice #wintersolstice2020 #wintersolsticeyoga #inhaleyogatogether #inhaleathome #yogapractice #yogaathome #yogaholidays #holidays2020

We moved our yoga studio online in response to the times, but ever since we have embraced this opportunity to bring our yoga practice into our homes and to integrate yoga into our lives. In a year that has changed so much, resistance is palpable and understandable. But the truth we’ve discovered is that we don’t need walls and many mats on a hard wood floor to reap the benefits of yoga. Yoga is everywhere, and that’s what Inhale at Home is all about. Join us anytime, for asa...na, for mediation, for breath, for dharma talks, for community, for workshops, for celebrations. (Link in bio!) And if you’ve been embracing Inhale at Home, please share in the comments below #yogaathome #homepractice #inhaleathome #inhaleyogatogether #yogalifestyle #pittsburghyoga #

@emilylaughed is offering a 3-part workshop series on resilience in January. Yes, we will all get through what we are going through, but isn’t nice to do so in company? You can sign up on FitDegree #Repost There is a story told of a man who dreams of having a home on a cliff overlooking the sea. He builds his home and on the day he moves in, a dense fog arrives. He curses it, and is so angered that he moves away after a month, unable to settle into these circumstances.... A week after he moves away, the fog clears. Feels a lot like this year, doesn’t it? Everything we so dearly wish was able to be touched and felt feels hidden and just out of our grasp. It’s easy in times like this to believe that flowers will no longer be filled with wild technicolor, that art or music can never stir our soul the way it did before, or that those who mean the most to us in our lives no longer seem sweet or kind or are able to soften our heart. There will always be times like this in our lives. What we so dearly desire is just beyond the fog and just out of our reach. What might be needed more than anything else is the quiet courage to soften to the abyss, and to welcome in the uncertainty. To invite in faith that the world will come back into tune. No fog lasts forever. To find strength in the steeliness of our surroundings. To allow ourselves to evolve into a softer, more open heart space. A time to build our resiliency. I’ll be holding space for this exploration throughout the winter months. We’ll start in January and allow for this kind of study to have loving space held within ourselves. Meditation, contemplation, movement, practices. It’s my first workshop, and I’m loving creating the structure for these hours. If any of this speaks to you, I would love for you to join me. Link is in bio; three Saturday morning’s in January, February and March. @inhaleyogatogether #yoga #bodhicitta #resilience #winterwarrier #winter #warrior #heart #inhaleyogatogether #yogaonline #onlineyogaworkshops #yoga2021

Today we’re wishing @lianna_ankney a very Happy Birthday Inhale wouldn’t be what it is without Lianna’s open and curious heart, her dedication to discovering the roots of our practices and the lands our feet stand on, and her belief in all the possibilities. We’re so grateful to share yoga and life with this wise Sagittarius. #yogateacherbirthday #happybirthday #yogateacher #inhaleyogatogether
