April Blog Here we are entering the beautiful Month of April. Let us thank God that the Covid epidemic seems to be subsiding. Many people are being vaccinated, and we should shake off our fears and return to church, and a more normal life-style. This year, we will celebrate Easter in April. This is one of the greatest celebrations on the Christian calendar. Our whole hope of salvation depends upon, not only the death of Jesus, but also, His glorious resurrection. Christ’s res...urrection, not only makes possible our physical resurrection, if we die before Jesus returns, but it also provides a spiritual resurrection from the death of sin. In Ephesians 2:1, Paul writes: And you hath he quickened, (or made alive spiritually), those who were dead in trespasses and sins. Being dead in trespasses and sins describes us all; and so, in Acts 3:26, we read, Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities (or sins). It is beautiful to see the blossoms on the fruit trees and in the vegetable gardens, but if drought, weeds, bugs, or just neglect, causes the fruit trees to produce no fruit or vegetables, the blossoms have meant nothing; so it is with persons who give their hearts to Jesus, and become spiritually alive, and begin to blossom; if they do not put forth the effort to care for their spiritual life, they will begin to dry up and die. Those who fail to pray and read God’s word will find that Satan’s bugs and weeds will soon take over and their spiritual life will begin to die. But in 2nd Peter 3:18, he challenges us to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen. If you have sensed that your spiritual life is not what it should be; that instead of producing the fruit of the Spirit (see Galatians 5:22-26), your blossoms have fallen and there is no sigh of life where the blossoms were; if the plants in your garden are drooping and look lifeless, they need attention. If your relationship with Jesus is no longer vibrant, it needs attention. If you would like me, or someone from our church, to pray with, or for you, please call me at 724-549-5944. It is my hope and prayer that during this beautiful month of April, you will experience new energy and a physical touch from God’s hand, and that you will have a reviving of your spiritual life as well. God bless you, Pastor Williamson See more

November Blog What’s happening in November? This month, like all the rest, will be a busy month. 1. The end of DST for this year. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to reset your clock back one hour. 2. Election Day, November 3. If we don’t vote right, our country may be on the way to a socialist/totalistic country. 3. It’s hunting season big time. Be safe out there and enjoy the venison, bear, and whatever else you get.... 4. It’s Thanksgiving Nov. 26. Above all, be thankful to God! 5. It’s Christmas Shopping Season! Be careful when you are shopping, it’s also COVID season. There is a lot going on in November, but we certainly need to make it a month for prayer. We need to pray for our Nation, and all of our Leaders. We need to pray for policemen, firemen, and first responders, we need to pray for our doctors, nurses, and all health care workers. We need to pray for all those who are able to attend school from pre-kindergarten to college and universities; also for teachers and administrators. We should also pray for children who must learn ‘on-line,’ and for parents who are struggling. We need to pray for businesses that are struggling, and trying to survive. We need to pray for churches and congregations, pastors and church leaders that have been affected by COVID. We also need to pray for persons who are ill, whether from COVID, or other illnesses. We need to pray for those who have lost loved ones. No doubt there are many other needs for which we should pray. But we also need to praise the LORD! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD! Psalm 150:6 See more
