After 7 days we vet and put the cat up for adoption. Unless medical attention is required for the safety of volunteers or the cat sooner. Any owner wishing to claim their cat must show proof of prior vetting, vaccination records or any vet paperwork identifying the animal are acceptable, medical bills for said cat will be reimbursed to It Takes Heart Kitten Zoo. After 14 days of being in our care any person must legally adopt said cat and be an approved adopter. Meet Henry, Kip and Grumpy. Henry and Kip are on the road to recovery, but, it will be a long road. Henry has a bad eye which we don't know yet if it can be saved. They are both receiving treatment and are being socialized. Both are eating and receiving daily supplements to help their healing. Grumpy has a reason to be Grumpy. His momma was killed on the road beside him. He also has something wrong with his shoulder. He was seen by a vet today and is being scheduled fo...r an exray to assess the extent of damage. Right now he is confined and safe. He is not showing signs of pain and is already responding to human touch quiet well. He also has a healthy appetite! This year has been extremely difficult with so many kittens due to clinics and vet offices not being operational during the peak kitten season in Spring.
