February 11 Lab: Combat Water Survival Training! This afternoon, Warrior Battalion cadets received instruction on waterproofing rucks, shallow water entry, deep water entry, the rifle swim, and a buoyancy test! These practical applications of each component helped to certify our cadets in the CWST commissioning requirement and develop necessary survival skills. Week 3 Lab: Virtual Patrol Bases! Warrior Battalion MS4 Cadets zoomed to our cadets at home to instruct on patrol bases today! Cadets learned how to properly select, occupy, and operate within a patrol base. This information will be used for all mission simulations throughout their cadet careers. On Saturday, December 5th, Warrior Battalion cadets volunteered at the annual Trees for Troops event! We were honored to pair with the Mytrysak Family Tree Farm to provide Christmas trees for local active duty soldiers. The Warrior Battalion would like to give special recognition to our cadets for their successful completion of the first record Army Combat Fitness Test as the Army transitions to a new standard for readiness. The MS1 and MS2 classes completed the ACFT Lite, consisting of the hand release push-up, leg tuck, and 2 mile run events. The MS3 and MS4 classes completed the full 6 event ACFT! Congratulations to CDT Jackson Heasley for being our only cadet and 1 of very few soldiers nationwide to score a maximum score of 600 points! #acft #armyrotc

On Friday, November 20th, the Warrior Battalion held our annual Dining-in event at the Rustic Lodge to join together and reflect on this passing semester. We were also honored to award MAJ Adam Love with a Meritorious Service Medal and recognize Cadets Washington, Johnson, and Heasley for their outstanding performance on the fall Army Combat Fitness Test.
