In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, stay tuned for uplifting stories form prominent members of history. Leading with Madam C.J. Walker, born in 1867, she became the first American woman to become a self-made millionaire after starting a line of hair growth products. Although the company closed its doors in 1981, Madam C.J. Walker Enterprises lives on. ... In 2013, the company was purchased by Sundial Brands, manufacturer of well known product lines such as Shea Moisture. The brand was relaunched as Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture and can be found at Sephora to this day! We are in awe of the entrepreneurial leadership and philanthropic generosity that lives within the legacy of this extraordinary woman.

Congratulations...y'all broke the internet, and our server. So here ya go. Please read the accompanying information below: Summary: An area of low pressure cur...rently entering Missouri will continue eastward to Southern Ohio now through Sunday. Initially, overrunning snow will move into our region Sunday afternoon from that low. As the Ohio Valley low runs into a blocking high to the north, it will force redevelopment to a secondary low near the Carolinas late Sunday evening. That low will strengthen and take over as a coastal low that will move NE toward the DelMarVa region and will wrap heavy snow around it to our region, most notably Monday afternoon and Monday night. The low pulls away Tuesday morning, taking with it any remaining/leftover snow showers. Impacts and Timing: Impacts level for this event is VERY HIGH for the potential for a widespread shutdown snowfall. Timing is generalized, but expect the initial wave of snow and snow showers to arrive Sunday afternoon from SW-NE across our territory. Snow will continue through the evening and overnight, but during the expected transfer from the primary low to the developing secondary low offshore, lighter precipitation or a lull is possible Sunday night. During this time, warm air advection in areas mainly south of I-78 may change precipitation over to sleet and, possibly light freezing rain/drizzle in AREA D of our map below. These areas will go back to snow on Monday morning. Areas E and F could change to sleet, freezing rain, and then rain Sunday night, before going back over to snow on Monday from NW-SE. Precipitation ends as snow everywhere late Monday night, with lingering snow showers into Tuesday morning. As the coastal low deepens off the coast on Monday, a cold conveyor belt (CCB) will wrap around the low on its north and west side. This is an area of intense banding and rapidly rising motion, which for those underneath that band will see 1-2 per hour rates of heavy snow at times. This is most likely to occur Monday afternoon and evening, and will affect area C on the map below most notably. A best chance to meet or exceed 18 area was also highlighted on the map below, but this may shift slightly NW or SE in the next 24 hours. The map represents our best estimations at this point. If any updates are needed, it would be done by late morning on Sunday prior to the snow’s arrival. Snow impacts level: VERY HIGH, most notably in areas B, C, D Icing impact level: LOW, but highest in area D Power outage concerns: MODERATELY LOW Travel disruption level: VERY HIGH Need for adult beverages level: HIGH. Get on it. Wind concern level: MODERATE, highest across NJ and DE, but likely not sufficient to meet blizzard criteria. Some gusts there Monday afternoon/evening could reach 35-40mph, but sustained 15-25mph. Inland PA areas can expect 15-25mph gusts in the same time frame.

Friends, Clients and Customers: We are experiencing some very unique times that our industry and related industries may have never been exposed to before. We are used to hard work, long hours(especially this time of year) and hitting deadlines but the culmination of the previous 3-4 months leading to the explosion of the overall real estate market in recent weeks is very arduous. We realize that everyone buying, selling or refinancing a home has their own pressures and s...tress and we want you to know WE are doing everything in our power to make that happen, happen on time and happen seamlessly. Last minute changes and adjustments are creating issues that are difficult to maneuver in these unprecedented times. We are asking for patience and understanding at this time, realizing that our friends in the lending industry and other real estate related functions are going through the same things. We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to serve you and we are doing our level best to get to everyone’s needs. We sure do appreciate the compassion and consideration in these special times. Thank YOU!!!
