Please bare with us. I’m a small business owner and the only tax preparer in the office now. In the past month I have been sick, had the other preparer in the office leave, lost an aunt, and my husband was in the hospital. I haven’t closed my office in 16 years except for really bad snow storms and I’ve been off several days in the last month due to all this. I’m doing the best I can to catch up and get returns out. The due date isn’t until May 17th and most should be... completed by then. In the meantime if possible please don’t call the office asking for status updates, it just takes away from the time we could be working on returns. We will call you if we need more information to complete your return and when it is completed and ready to be picked up. Tax season is about here. Call now to schedule your appointment. We are almost out of appointments for February. So call now or let us know if you will be dropping off. Be sure to check our website for the new forms we need completed. There have been a lot of changes this year so please take the time to completely fill out the forms. We know it’s a pain but by law most of the questions on it are required by the IRS for us to ask each client so if you are dropping off it is extremely important to save us time and costs on you prep fees to have these answers.
