Jackie’s Dog Grooming Salon

Unfortunately, opening day will not be coming this year. The salon is being built as we speak but the move in date is now further away. I wish everyone is staying hopeful & safe during this strange holiday season! I’ll keep updating you as much as I can. This home buying process has been so much more difficult/stressful & complicated then I thought. Please pray that everything is going to work out fine with this house

REUNITED AS OF 12/14 Puppy is home and recovering with his owners!!!! They thank all that have helped with reuniting their beloved dog. FOUND DOG - HIT BY CAR ...IN COATESVILLE AREA UPDATE 12/11 (from this morning) He is walking around and eating still no owners have come to claim him. He’s still with Animal Rescue League. Should be noted that a found report was filed for him in Chester county by the couple that saw him got hit and jumped into action to get him help. The BVSPCA directed them elsewhere for care which is how after numerous calls to police, animal control and otherwise he landed at ARL. Thanks again to this couple for helping him and to ARL! For those who were looking for a link for donations you can donate to ARL through their site. Thanks for all the shares and I hope we can get this baby home, or a new home for him if he needs one! A friend saw this male husky with a red collar get hit on the 30 bypass exit to 82. Driver did not stop! Pup is alive and moving around. He has been taken to the animal rescue league of berks county in reading. No chip or contact info on collar. This was the closest place that would accept him. Spread the word. UPDATE 7 PM 12/10: Lucky husky has a cone on and a wrap on his paw but no major injuries!! He is still under the care of Animal Rescue League of Berks County who thankfully took him in when no one else would. Some people have been asking me about GoFundMe pages etc - you can donate to ARL directly through their website! No owner has claimed him as of the last update we received but someone was going to go to ARL to see if he was theirs. UPDATE 10 AM 12/10: No owners have contacted Animal Rescue League. The husky did make it through the night and is at the emergency vet getting more X-rays. UPDATE 10 PM 12/9: Still no solid leads on owners. officially put in my deposit for my 12 x 20 Victorian shed! Unfortunately opening day will not be coming this year, but am excited and can’t wait till I can announce an opening date. I will of course keep you all updated as much as possible to let you know when I’ll be up & running! I’m beyond excited to start grooming again and can’t wait for everyone to see the new and improved salon

Little Petey got his 2nd groom with me today He got a simple 1/2 inch all over along with his furminator shampoo & conditioner, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning and teeth brushing Can’t wait to see him and the rest of my clients at the new house in Parkesburg Should be all moved in by the first week in December and back up and running at full capacity with many new upgrades just in time for Christmas Let me know if you’d like to schedule in advance!

Fergus & April got their Fall haircuts!

Zeus was back for his 5th grooming with me Jacob was back for his 2nd groom! & Fuzzy also got his 2nd trim with me. All perfect pups Hope everyone is staying safe and in good spirits this October! Still playing the waiting game to move into the new house (getting prepared for new septic tank). I’m still taking a few appointments at the temporary location in Glenmoore. My two babies for today I met little Max for the first tome today! He was matted so we had to take him extra short today. He was so sweet and let me do everything I needed to to keep him happy and comfortable! Hope to see him again in a few weeks so we can keep him fluffy and in good shape! Then I saw BB for her second groom with me. Her parents like her shaved down, but before I completely shaved her I gave her a little on her butt for some extra cute pics she’s so well behaved for everything.

Montana & Cupcake got their 3rd grooming with me this morning

Jasper, Libby, and Scrappy Met Scrappy for the first time today and he was nervous but delicate hands and talking to him made him feel much better! Then I had Libby girl again I’ve been grooming her for a while now and she’s always so cute and happy. Last I met Jasper the mini poodle! I loved grooming him he’s so handsome and lovable ... Levi - Zeus - & Ruby What a great first day back grooming! Saw some of my favorites today. First we had Baby Ruby back for her 3rd groom with me & she got her first all over big girl haircut (1/4 inch on the body) which she was very good for. Then I saw my buddy Zeus back for his 4th groom with me. He’s the sweetest macho mini poodle he’s the best. & then I saw Levi for the 5th or 6th time & he got a complete shave down to keep him super comfortable and happy! ...
