Jana Quarter Horse Farm

These three gals prove sorrels and chestnuts are gorgeous too. All three are sired by roans and two have a hint of roaning. All three have the disposition, conformation and athleticism that Jana horses are known for. They will be weaned and halter broke soon and offered for sale.

The freeze branding of our 2020 foals scheduled for the 15th of August is postponed due to the Virus. We will reschedule it for later in the Fall or Spring after the threat declines. We will start weaning the older foals in late August or early September.

Lacy is the last of our 2-yr-olds. A stunning grullo roan filly, we sold her last because she was the best. Of the hundreds of foals we have produced in over a half century, she is the prettiest and one of the most athletic. Her sire is Jana Whiskey Blues, her dam, Soldiers Margurita, is our most outstanding producer. Soldiers Margurita's offspring have won in poles, barrels, roping and reining. She is now at the end of her career. Lacy now resides in upstate New York. Thank you so much for your purchase, Emily. We wish you the best as you prepare her for the show ring. Who would think this 2019 chubby suckling filly would morph into this muscled, athletic speed machine. She is not a pleasure prospect. We offer her as a barrel prospect. She has the abilities to be great if you have the skills to train her to greatness..
