This year's Jason Evans Memorial Wrestling Scholarship was awarded to Thomas (Tre) Kerrigan who is a 2020 Graduate of Abington Heights High School and plans to attend Lincoln Tech. Tre was a four-year member of the Abington Heights Comets Wrestling Team, serving as a leader and positive role model. In addition to his time on the wrestling team, Tre also served with the Clarks Summit fire company and Newton Ransom fire company; and as a volunteer with the 23V's volunteer group.

Thinking of everyone during this difficult time. Let's think of Jason's contagious smile and amazing laugh during these surreal times. Hang in there.
On this #GivingTuesday, please consider donating to the Jason Evans Memorial Wrestling Scholarship Fund. On July 20, Jason's friends gathered to "Celebrate the Legend - Cakes" while raising an outstanding $3,500 for the scholarship fund! Thank you to all who attended and contributed. As a reminder, donations can be made at any time at http://www.safdn.org/donate/ The Foundation matches 20% of every donation in the first 2 years up to $5,000. This means that another $700 will be contributed as a match to the event proceeds. Thank you all for support in this lasting legacy for Cakes.
