1) Renewal period for annual dues ends February 28th. We know the mail is slow, as long as you get it in the mail and it's post marked no later than March 1 there will not be a late fee charge. A late charge of $35 will be applied to renewals post marked and received after March 1. 2) Egg Hunt for April 3 has been cancelled. 3) Hunter Safety Course for April 10 has been cancelled. Interested parties must go onto the PA Game Commission website for further information on course...s. 4) We will accept new members at a Board Meeting on March 11 at 7pm. Applicants and Sponsors must complete and sign the application form and check list. Mail or send via email, as an attachment, completed forms and we must receive the application no later than March 7. NO EXCEPTIONS. Fee of $125 may be mailed in with application or new member may pay prior to meeting. Both the new member and sponsor are required to come on March 11 to receive the new members' credentials. ALL OUTDOOR RANGES ARE NOW OPEN All rifle, pistol and archery outdoor ranges are now open and available for use. The forestry project is still ongoing so the loggers will be in the woods and are aware of the ranges being used. They will remain clear of the ranges however we ask that you be extra vigilant when using the ranges. We will have to close the ranges again when they need to do work within the safety zone, but it will not be an extended period of time. We hope this has not been to inconvenient and we hope to have this project completed before the warmer weather arrives.

ALL OUTDOOR RANGES WILL BE OPEN DURING THE WEEKENDS ONLY STARTING JANUARY 16, 2021 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE All rifle, pistol and archery outdoor ranges will be closed during the week and will be open and available for use on the weekends only. This will begin on Saturday Jan. 16, 2021 and continue until logging operations are complete. To get updates on when the ranges will open fulltime, go to our website or face book pages. We will also send out an email when we have a date for reopening the ranges. The indoor .22/archery range will be available.

ALL OUTDOOR RANGES WILL BE CLOSED STARTING JANUARY 4 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE All rifle, pistol and archery outdoor ranges will be closed while we have the logging operation in progress. This will begin on Monday Jan. 4, 2021 and continue until completed. We expect this operation to take approximately 2 weeks and this depends on the weather. To get updates on when the ranges will open, go to our website or face book pages. We will also send out an email when we have a date for reopening the ranges. The indoor .22/archery range will be available.

Jefferson Sportsmen’s Association Environment - Conservation - Wildlife - It’s our Responsibility The Board of Directors have decided to cancel all General Member Meetings and indoor club events until the end of March 2021. The decisions were based on state restrictions and the safety/health concerns for our members. Now that the winter months are here and an increase in use of the indoor ranges, please continue to follow social distancing and mask requirements while using th...e indoor ranges. Be respectful of others and this will help us avoid any problems. The following events have been cancelled: January 2 New Year Shoot Jan. 5 to Mar. 9 Indoor .22 League February 18 Member Shoot March 6 Covered Dish Social March 27 Work Detail ( We will re-evaluate later) Don't forget to renew your dues.
