The first finish for Jenni Quilts in 2021 is a quilt for my Sister-in-love. She’s making it as a gift and I am honored to help her finish it. Chevrons is the quilting pattern is one of my new favorites for a masculine quilt. It adds just the perfect amount of pop. The quilt Sherpa (my father-in-love) just left from his visit and will deliver the quilt to my SIL. I love my family!
The Handiquilter has been humming at Jenni Quilts. With customer quilts all caught up, it was time for a couple personal items. Below is my new shower curtain. It is in our guest bath and there is a glass door behind it so it’s not actually functional but it makes my heart happy to look at it!
Here are a couple more pictures of my customer’s Dia de Muertos quilt. She said it was her first quilt, I hope it’s not her last! It’s so much fun!
This was a fun pattern added to a simply rad quilt top! The customer loved the result!
I love it when customers bring their finished quilts in to share! Here are two quilts that I recently quilted for Sandy. She said they have been completed for a long time. I was happy to give them life and help her to get them finished!
I often get asked the question: will you finish my quilt? Most of the time the answer is: yes, I will finish your quilt. Sometimes people want the quilt trimmed, the binding made, and have it sewn on so they can hand sew the binding. Other times people want me to trim the quilt so it’s ready for them to attach the binding. Some other times people want me to take it from a quilt top to completed quilt and ready for cuddling. I can do that to you. I consider myself a quilt... finisher. You decide what level you want me to finish it to. It brings me great pleasure in helping to get quilting projects DONE! Below shows two pictures of wall hangings that the customer wanted me to trim and attach the binding to so she can hand sew the binding after I got done with the quilting. She was thrilled with my assistance in getting her projects a few steps closer to completion. My question for you is: How can I help you get a couple of your quilt projects DONE!?
Such pretty batiks on my quilt frame today! The pattern curly cues looks great on it without taking away from the batiks. I love my job!
I love modern quilts! This one turned out exceptionally well.
Today I tried out a new pattern on a sea worthy quilt today. I’d say she quilted up quite nicely!
