Today's quilts are special to me. These ladies completed the Technique Tuesday Progressive Quilt last year. A year and half ago I had an idea to do a class teaching a different quilting technique each month. And somehow make them all tie in together to make a quilt. Donna had faith in me and gave me the go ahead without knowing exactly what I was going to do. We were all relieved when it all worked out! They are beautiful.

As promised... a sneak peak at this years Technique Tuesday Quilt. I still have a few pieces to create but this is the bulk of it. Just a few spaces remain in the 1pm class. And fabric requirements are available!

A couple years ago I posted a picture of an empty cone of thread and mentioned how it feels like an accomplishment to empty a cone. So last year I let the empty cones pile up just to see what I could accomplish in one year. 45 empty!! And yes it still feels like I accomplished something. (And my husband will be happy that I can now throw them all away :))

Last Tuesday, I taught the final class of the 2020 Technique Tuesday Quilt. I enjoyed these classes so much that I have decided to do it again in 2021!! Classes start January 26th at Sew Special. All new techniques - all new quilt!! Space is limited so don't wait to sign up. This is a picture of the 2020 quilt. I have several more Technique quilts that participants completed. I will be posting pictures of them soon. They are all stunning. The People's Choice contest winner is Quilt #8. It was a close race until Saturday when I got over 40 votes in 2 hours for #8. Congratulations!!
