Next project, old 1970's couch getting a new lease on life. Excited about this one, FREE couch that just needs some TLC!!! 5 yards of new fabric from Joann Fabrics, they get a kick out of me walking down the fabric isles but I've always been a do it yourself type of person. Couch has no legs so taking an old banister I saved and cutting it up for the legs. Stay tuned, hoping to use the couch this week for portraits!!! @jlwstudios @ Joe Wickersham Studios

A little something I put together for Father's Day weekend! Come on up tomorrow or Saturday for a Ride or Drive Experience of a lifetime at The Tricky Triangle, Pocono Raceway. It will for sure make the BEST Father's Day Gift any father would LOVE!!! More videos to come for Stockcar Racing Experience at Pocono Raceway, so happy they asked me to produce them. 2019 MMI Senior Summer Evancho, it started with Summer being a bit nervous but once she calmed down she got her model look on and we created some amazing images!!!

2019 Marian Catholic High School Senior Alexa Sandefer Studio Portraits. I call it my struggle studio because it isn't done yet and doesn't look like I want it to, but we made it work and I couldn't be HAPPIER with the results. FEAR, fear is something that takes over you and keeps you from reaching your goals. Fear has kept me from doing what I love for many years now because I was always fearful I was not good enough or I couldn't compete. The toughest part of my life to... date is watching the battle my mother has been going through for years now, the good days are great but the bad ones are crippling for a son to watch. It wasn't until I saw the strength in that woman to keep fighting every day that made me realize if I don't go after my dreams, life will just pass me by. It hasn't been pretty, I struggled with separating life and my business and along the way dropped the ball on more then one occasion and think about those mistakes every single day. I wish I could go back and change everyone of them but realize they made me a better person and a better business because of them. Last year the rain in the Summer and the Fall absolutely wreaked havoc on my sessions, I don't know one person who wasn't rained out at least once. I started really pushing my senior portraits three years ago and always did outdoor sessions because I didn't have space and couldn't offer studio sessions. My studio is far from done but I realized from a very smart woman you don't need the space to look pretty, just the portraits. The studio will get done, rain will not interfere any longer with sessions and sessions will never have to be cancelled again. I set goals last year and nearly doubled everyone of them, this year has already surpassed all of my expectations and this summer and fall are going to be busy. The best words anyone could ever hear is from a mother saying I am so very proud of all you are doing. Through the tough times and all the trips to doctors and hospitals and treatments, it only brought us closer and to know she is proud of all I am doing is all I ever need to keep reaching for my goals and letting fear in the rear view mirror. These are my first attempts at studio portraits, I had a vision and together with Alexa I feel we nailed them. I want my studio senior portraits to be different, I want everyone to look and feel like a model for the day. I am inspired by fashion magazines, Vogue, Express, Victoria Secret Fashion, Pink and so many others. When you get your senior portraits back, I want you to be amazed at how beautiful you really are. I thank everyone who chose Joe Wickersham Studios and those who continue to choose me to capture this very special moment of your life. My sessions are designed to celebrate everything about YOU!!! It truly is my passion and after so many years of fear, I am forever grateful to be doing what I absolutely love!!! See more
