Be patient with users during these uncertain times. Some of us have been working remotely or working from home for a very long time. Millions of users are being force to work from home for the very first time. These users may not have adequate space at home and now have to work from their kitchen tables. Not everyone has a dedicated office at home, with a stand up desk and treadmill below it. Logging into office 365 and finding your applications may sound easy to you, but fo...r the first time user this is extremely frustrating. These folks used to walk into an office, turn on their desktop, enter their credentials and click on a familiar short cut to start their day. That is no longer the way of working and hopefully that truth is short term. I have spent hours this weekend helping users. These users are rock stars at their job, yet have no idea how to get to office 365, let alone log in and do their jobs. Add VPN to the mix and multiple factor authentication all while having to share their screen. Let's not forget that not only are users intimidated by this new way of working, but they are also afraid for their jobs, their finances, their health. Let's all commit to being patient with users and reach out to help even if there isn't a billable hour associated with it.
