Joe's Farm Market 29.05.2021

Things are growing nicely in the greenhouses! It’s still too early to put many plants in the ground. We still have a TON of transplants to do and things should be right on time or a little early if the weather stays sunny! We will be open Thursday-Sunday, 4/15-4/18, again this week as full on plant season is still a couple weeks away. This gives us time to do transplants and prep greenhouses for retail sales!! I promise it won’t be long and we have PLENTY of plants. We will try to update our website this week with what is available and ready to go. It’s a BUSY time of year for us! See you all SOON!

Although the temperatures are above normal, we know it won’t last. Many vegetable plants and flowers are not ready to leave the warmth of the greenhouses yet but will be ready in just a few short weeks. We will be open Thursday-Sunday this week. We have some cole crops ready to plant, seeds, onion sets, and a few early spring flowers leftover from Easter. The store is open and deliveries of products are slowly coming in. Open Thursday 9-5

Yikes! Can you say transplantmania? We are BUSY transplanting your favorite veggie plants and flowers! We will announce our opening date soon as we hit an Easter Flower snag. Though the temperatures have felt like it’s time to plant, it’s not quite yet. Veggie plants and flowers are running on time for May planting. Now is the time to plan, clean the old plants and weeds out of the garden, and give the soil some nutrients. It won’t be long until we are ready, the plants are ready, and the weather is ready. Keep watching for opening updates!

Plugs are being transplanted and seeds are ready. Easter flowers should arrive next week! We will be open soon!!!

Joe's Farm Market 09.02.2021

What is that? Veggie plants are starting to grow! Flower plugs, baby plants, are starting to come in next week. We will transplant the veggie plants and plugs so they will be ready for your spring planting! We know the weather is beautiful today and making everyone think of planting, but we are actually about 2 months away from the weather being ready and the ground being warm enough to put plants in the ground! Remember last Mother’s Day weekend and the Polar Vortex? Yikes! Hoping 2021 Spring will be kind to us all this year! Start planning your garden. What worked or didn’t work last year? Did you grow enough or did the neighbors run when you showed up with more zucchini and cucumbers? Now is the time to plan!
