You can now lock in your interest rate while shopping for a new home. Even without a formal offer on a property, Lock & Shop gives you rate security with 60- or 90-day rate locks. If the rates improve as you shop, you can float down to the better rate. And our TBD/Scenarios feature (get income, assets and credit reviewed by an underwriter before going under contract) makes Lock & Shop even more attractive. Feel free to reach out for more info!

We are bringing in 2017 with higher loan limits across the board. Check out the upcoming changes: Conventional Conforming: Accepting the new limits on submissions now (close after 1/1/17). The base limit is now $424,100 and the high balance ceiling has increased to $636,150. FHA: The new limits are effective for case numbers assigned as of January 1, 2017. The FHA national loan limit "ceiling" will increase to $636,150 from $625,500. FHA will also increase its "floor" ...to $275,665 from $271,050. VA: The new limits are effective for loans closed on or after January 1, 2017. VA's 2017 Loan Limits are the same as the Federal Housing Finance Agency's limits (conventional). If a loan is originated now and closed after 1/1/17 the new guarantee limit applies. USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing: USDA does not establish a maximum loan amount. Let us know if we can help with your purchase or refinance. Thanks!
