Time to harvest the flowering pear trees (Pyrus calleryana)! Flowering pears will eventually grow to about 30-40' tall, but will keep a narrow, pyramidal shape about 16' wide.

Garden Center Hours - You've got another hour to shop for plants! Now open 9am - 7pm on weekdays, and 9am- 6pm on Saturdays.

The P.J.M. Rhododendrons are blooming! They look great paired with Golden Mop False Cypress. Come get yours at Johnston's Garden Center, this week 9am - 6pm Monday - Saturday! Next week we'll be open until 7pm.

Looking for a unique tree that provides excellent shade and beautiful spring flowers? Consider an American Yellowwood tree (Cladrastis kentuckea). This stately and regal tree is native to Missouri and has lovely white flowers in spring and will grow to 50' tall, 25-40' wide in planting zones 4-8.
