We had an awesome second work day at the track on April 10th! Thanks to Fi-Hoff Concrete Products, Inc. for their donation of concrete. We were able to put in a new landing and step for our registration building. Thanks to Laurel Highlands Construction Supplies and Rentals for donating their roller machine for the day. It made rolling the track after glue application a breeze. Thanks to Mattas Asphalt Maintenance Co., who brought out their equipment to help mix the glue for the track. Thanks to Luther Lawn Service, LLC, who brought out their trucks and equipment to spray the track and spread the shale. Thanks to Mountian Lake Rentals for their help in forming and finishing our new landing outside our registration booth. Thanks to Slovikosky Stone and Mulch, for hauling all the stone we needed on and around the track facility! Special thanks to all the volunteers who came out. They have helped make a huge difference in our track. Without all of you this would not have happened. The kids even jumped in and worked on the new strider track. Just a few finishing touches to complete around the track to be ready for the first race day! We remind everyone again, that no one can be on the track until Monday April 19, 2021 so the glue has a proper cure cycle.

Tomorrow (April 10) is our last big work day before the season starts! We will be starting at 9 AM. We need a few people to help with raking out the track to fine tune it before it’s glued. We need a few painters, and a few weed eaters! Let us know who all can make it and if you’d like to help with a certain task! We will build teams and knock these last remaining project out in no time! Thanks to all our great volunteers that have been out so far this year! See you tomorrow!!!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that came out today and made our first work day a HUGE success! We got way more tasks completed than we thought possible. April 10th is our next work day. We are down to all track work, a new concrete pad outside our registration booth, and finishing touches to painting projects. ... We greatly appreciate all that came out today and hope to have just as many or more on April 10th! More information to follow in the weeks ahead!

Ok Johnstown BMX families!!! Our first work day of the year is only 2 days away! This Saturday March 27 starting at 9AM. We have a few different projects that we are planning to complete. -Removal and disposal of built up trash and debris around the facility.... -Paint the existing bleachers beside the registration building. Replace all boards with new boards. -Add new shale dust to the track where needed. Re-work all other areas. Prepare track for glue application on second work weekend. -Add new shale on access road to starting gate. Re align and level bleachers on upper area by starting gate. -Finish new strider course and add shale dust for glue application. -Blow leaves and weed eat inside of fence area. Apply weed killer to fence line and sides of track. We have several pieces of equipment being donated to the track this weekend with operators. We just need a few extra hands to help rake and fine tune the material! We have all material and tools on site ready to work! Bring your gloves and be ready to sweat! Many hands make light work! See you all Saturday 3/27 @9:00AM!!!

Our season opener is right around the corner!!! We have some exciting track improvements that are in the works. We will be having our first track work day March 27 (rain day March 28th) We will be tackling the following items and are looking for parents to help! ~Bleacher repairs/painting. ~finishing strider track... ~adding shale dust and applying glue to track ~spreading new stone on drive lanes and upper area by bleachers ~general maintenance around track area. Stick debris and throwing out unwanted junk that has built up. Many hands will make light work! We have a few volunteers that are offering up equipment and operators to make some of these tasks much easier! We still need able bodies to help with raking and moving material around. We will be having a second work day April 10th (rain day April 11th) for a few last minute items and any overflow items we do not get completed on March 27. Please sign up and show up to help our great sport grow! We will keep you updated as the date gets closer and we have a better idea on how many volunteers we will have in attendance.

District points are final! Check where you placed by clicking the link, most of our riders are PA04, but some may be PA01. Your standing is your plate # for the 2021 season.....you MUST run either your new district #, your 2020 state finish # or 2020 Gold Cup #. Any questions, just ask!

2009 KTM 250sx This bike has 2 sets of plastics, 3 seats, a new bolt kit, and a box of miscellaneous things. It also has 2 header FMF pipes, with a fmf exhaust. Vforce 4 reeds,new chain, newer tires Might need a new set of handle bars, exhaust o-rings. Needs new back tube

***RACING CANCELLED*** Well, folks I really hate to do this, but due to the new restrictions that our nonsensical governor has put in to place effective at midnight tonight we are not going to be able to hold the race on Sunday. If we were on private land we wouldn't be cancelling but we're in a municipal park, and if we held the race, I'd have to answer to them, and possibly put next season in jeopardy, and I'm not willing to do that. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe, and has an enjoyable Christmas season. We will see you in the spring!!

We will be RACING this Sunday, **WEATHER/TRACK CONDITIONS PERMITTING**, registration 12-1, racing ASAP, $10 pedals, $3 balance bike. Will update later in the week after we check the track and see what the weather holds.

Last Board meeting/voting and track winterization will be this Thursday, Nov 19. Board meeting at 6:30, but track cleanup will begin at 5:30.
