Jojo's Au Pair's 13.02.2021

What a fantastic day of Au Pair Safety, Learning and Sharing.

Jojo's Au Pair's 21.01.2021

.In 2020, we saw firsthand the value, family, and friends bring to our lives. In the words of Joseph Campbell, We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. This past year we learned to work from home together and those that couldn't work from home worked harder and relied on family more than ever. We grew closer and forged great friendships based on the bonds of trust and appreciation. In 2021, I expect our au pair community will continue to grow and thrive. Don’t forget and let me know if you cross paths with a new family who might benefit from au pair childcare. I won’t forget to thank you, with a new host family referral $100 gift card

Here are a few recommendations which aren't new but are good reminders during this time of Pandemic crisis. 1. Avoid indoor crowds, including social gatherings as much as possible. 2. Keep at least 6 feet away from other people when shopping, dining, and other populated areas. 3. Wash your hands often and when you can't keep a small bottle of high-quality hand-sanitizer available and remember to use it.... 4. Don’t touch frequently touched surfaces in public areas, such as elevator buttons, handrails, and door handles. 5. If you use public transportation, maintain 6 feet of distance from other passengers as much as possible. Wear a mask. Don't touch your face and make sure you wash your hands and take a shower once you get home or to your final destination. 6. Avoid people who aren't socially distancing. Keep your bubble-tight and don't meet new people unless you have gotten to know them virtually well and know their situation. 7. Surround yourself with like-minded friends who understand how serious this pandemic is. 8. Wear a mask to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and wash or dispose of the mask daily. According to the CDD not doing so may cause other serious illnesses. www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019- ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html. 9. Anytime you talk to someone else realize you are too close to not be wearing a mask. 10. Use your best judgment, to keep each other healthy, happy, and safe. See more
