Joy’s White Noodley Stuff Ingredients: 2 ribs celery diced... 2 cloves garlic minced 1 box pasta (spirals, elbows, ziti, bowties, or egg noodles) cooked al dente* 1-2 cups cooked diced turkey or chicken 2 cups chicken broth or stock 1 jar Alfredo pasta sauce cup flour 4 tblspns butter Cheesy Crumb Topping: 1 cup of shredded cheese (3 parts cheddar and 1 part parmesan mixed) 1 cup bread crumbs 1 tablespoon softened butter 1) In a medium to large stock pot melt 4 tblspns butter until just bubbly. Add the cup flour and whisk till fully mixed together. 2) Add chicken broth. Whisk until mixture thickens . 3) Add the jar of Alfredo pasta sauce and stir. 4) Add cooked pasta, garlic, celery, diced meat and mix well. 5) Pour pasta mixture into a glass or ceramic baking dish. 6) In a small bowl, combine shredded cheese, bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon of softened butter. Blend until crumbly. 7) Top pasta mixture with the crumb topping and bake at 250 F until heated through and topping is a little crispy. (about 30 minutes). Note: If you want more color on the topping, place under broiler until browned.
