Grand Treasurer Trismen and Brothers Baxter and Teddy representing Team Kappa Sigma at Relay for Life last night. We exceeded our goal of raising $1,000 after finishing up with $1,490 and being ranked #6 out of the 54 teams. Thank you to all that contributed throughout the week!

Throughout the week, our chapter has been raising money for Penn's Relay for Life. All of the money goes towards cancer research and taking care of cancer patients as they go through their treatments. This is a cause that hits particularly close to home as we have multiple brothers with family members who have been affected by cancer and one brother who suffered from cancer when he was younger. We would like to invite all current brothers, alumni, and friends of the house to ...help us raise money for our Relay for Life team. To this point, the $1,125 we have raised ranks us #1 among fraternity teams and #7 team among all 54 total teams involved at Penn. Although we have done well so far, we are not satisfied and would like to increase our total to help out more cancer patients. To join our team, please click the link at the bottom of this post. While registering for our team only costs $10, donations of all sizes beyond that are very welcome. Thank you in advance for your help! Thank you to everyone who came out to the 17th annual Scott Mackler 5K for ALS! The Kappa Sigma team raised over $1,000 to give to ALS research in honor of Scott Mackler, the father of 2004 Alpha-Epsilon alum Noah Snyder-Mackler. Teddy loved the exercise, too!

Kappa Sigma Brothers and Alumni, My name is Edwin Sam, and on behalf of our entire Alpha-Epsilon chapter, we cordially invite you to Penn's campus on October 29th, 2016 for the University of Pennsylvania's 2016 Homecoming. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., we welcome all Kappa Sigma alumni and their families to our iconic chapter house at 3706 Locust Walk leading into the football game that afternoon. We will be serving refreshments in the chapter hall throughout the day with breakfast... foods, coffee, and fruits in the morning and lunch from Di Bruno Bros. catered in the afternoon. This will be a great opportunity to brush up on your pool skills while catching up with current and past Kappa Sigma brothers. Also come and meet our energetic two-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Teddy! Coming off of winning the Ivy League Championship last season, the Penn football team will be facing Brown in the homecoming game. Although the exact time has not been announced, we are fairly confident kickoff for the game will be at 1:00 p.m, so we are planning accordingly. During the afternoon as well, legendary Penn musician Kenn Kweder will be performing live music in the chapter hall, one of our favorite yearly traditions. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] (Edwin) or our president, David, at [email protected], and we would be more than happy to provide any information you may need. All of us at Alpha-Epsilon look forward to seeing you at Penn soon, and we hope you all will join us to celebrate the 2016 Homecoming weekend. Best, Edwin Sam, Homecoming Chair Kappa Sigma, Alpha-Epsilon Class of 2017

Great to meet with WGM Derek Marchman and Christian Nascimento at Thursday's Founders' Day Dinner. We loved getting to know the student and alumni leaders of the Greater Philadelphia District at the event. It was an honor to have three members receive Scholarship-Leadership Awards, and we offer our sincerest gratitude to the Kappa Sigma Fraternity for this incredible distinction.
