We would like to congratulate our dancers and the dancers of our paired organization, Sigma Delta Tau, for doing an amazing job and representing our organizations this weekend. THON 2020 was one we will never forget. Together our organizations were able to raise over $169,000, contributing to the $11.6 total. WOW. We are proud of these 9 individuals and all of members of our chapters for working together all year to fundraise and prove that #cancercannot . In 5 days we will be participating in Penn State’s annual Dance Marathon (THON). Each year, THON’s efforts raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund, which provides emotional and financial support for families who are affected by childhood cancer. This helps ensure that no THON family will have to ever face a medical bill. On Friday, our fraternity will begin standing during the 46 hour no sitting, no sleeping, dance marathon. Our fraternity works directly with the Tafel family.... Thanks to THON, Nick Tafel is now over 11 years cancer-free and a student at Penn State. THON is the largest student run philanthropy in the world and benefits pediatric cancer research at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, as well as helps Four Diamonds families with treatment finances for their children.
