Hello Everyone! Tomorrow, Saturday, March 20th at 5:37am it will be officially SPRING! Even the weather is cooperating with temps in the upper 50s tomorrow and 60s on Sunday! ... Hello Everyone, This week my ‘spotlight’ will be on this mini oil lamp. This charming little cutie stands 10.5 tall, has a light blue base with ‘bubbles’ all around. The chimney top is partly frosted at the base and clear to the top with fluted edges. This lamp has never been used, but it will accent anywhere you have it placed on a hallway table, a corner window, a curio cabinet or even on an upright piano. Hello Everyone! As of today, we are less than 10 days from the FIRST DAY OF SPRING!! WooHoo! As the days get both warmer and longer, we will be wanting to move outdoors, enjoying the sun and warmth that comes with it. Able to do more things during the course of the day. And even though we are still living in unprecedented times, there are going to be some life events that you will want to share with your family and friends, even at a distance.... For example, this coming Wednesday, March 17th is the day that everyone is a little bit Irish. If you are still in the need of some fun trinkets or décor, I still have a few mementos with an Irish flair. Hello Everyone! The end of a cold, snowy February is just around the corner and yes, we are hearing a bit of rain in the forecast, but warmer temps are certainly coming. This week my ‘spotlight’ will be on these 2 bells, school bells. The smaller, mini school bell (kindergarten) has a high pitch ‘ting’ to it. Silver tone shell and clapper are in great shape and the wooden handle has some scuffs, but to pick up with just your finger and thumb is a unique feel to it. The tone is perfect to gather the attention of the young children in the classroom. The bigger, brass toned bell is an Elementary School bell that has a much more noticeable rin...g to it. Loud and distinct to let the children know that recess is over and time to come back into the school. The wooden handle has a good grip to it as well. You can find these bells in my glass display case in #82 & #83 at the Quaker Antique Mall and they are priced at $8.00 for the small silver toned and $42.00 for the Elementary School bell.
