Dear alumni, As we celebrate 100 years, we're looking for photos of the chapter! Have photos of past rush shirts? Past booth? Candids, parties, people hanging out? The house? Floor plans from before this year? Rooms? Send it in! The more the merrier!... If the photos aren't digital, you can take a picture of them, and that'll work just fine. You can message us directly, or email our alumni relations chair, Jonny Wu at [email protected]. Stay safe & be well! AEKDB, Adrian Lapadat. One week ago, it was my pleasure to welcome 12 wonderful young men to the brotherhood of Kappa Sigma and the pledging process. Pledges: congratulations and welcome. We're very glad to have you. These next few weeks are going to be a lot of fun. Brothers: yet to know the pledges more! From what I can tell, they're great, genuine young guys.... Alumni: you are the reason this chapter still stands. Thank you for allowing us to pass on this gift. I wish you all the best; AEKDB. Adrian Lapadat, GMC (Vice President)

It's an odd time to celebrate 100 years. but knowing we've made it this far helps one realize: we can make it even farther. Do I hear 200? To our alumni, Delta-Alpha would not have weathered the sands of time without you. Thank you for keeping Delta-Alpha a stronghold where we can weather those sands. Thank you for the blood, sweat, and tears, and the many wonderful memories and crazy stories we're definitely telling your spouses and our grandchildren.... To our current brothers, you're not safe either. We're telling your kids everything, and your spouses even more. Seriously, thanks for making 1063 Morewood Avenue better with your laughter, your stories, and your presence. It's going to be a tough, tough year. But we'll get through it, together. To everyone else: If you've been a part of Delta-Alpha, thank you for being a part of our story. If you haven't met us yet, we certainly look forward to it! Stay healthy, stay strong. While there is much to still fight for in terms of racial equality, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. proved that relentless community organizing births revolutionary change. He stood against war and for peace, and for justice. He saw how the powerful used race as a weapon to divide Black people from white people. He saw the deep sorrow in this truth. He knew that the path for Americans to be united together is to organize against this division. The hill to climb remains steep, but ...King and the countless others who worked with him remind us that we can summit that mountain. Thank you, everyone who has struggled on the path for racial equality. And thank you, everyone who continues to struggle today.
