For those enjoying the trail today, please be careful around the Blue Bridge, as there is tree work being done today. If possible, avoid the area. Thanks and be safe!
LOST AND FOUND ALERT - Last November we were notified of a bike, much like in this stock photo, having been found along the trail. As of today, no one has reached out for a lost bike, so it may have been stolen elsewhere and discarded along the trail. Please message us if you know of a child missing their bike so we can connect them with the finder.
Easton is creating a Climate Action Plan! The best way to ensure that the Climate Action Plan achieves the outcomes that you care most about is to fill out the survey (links below) or contact the Nurture Nature Center to share your thoughts either via email ([email protected]) or phone 610-253-4432. We are requesting input by March 19th. English language survey: https://tinyurl.com/EastonCAPsurvey En Espanol: https://tinyurl.com/EastonCAPsurveySpanish... More information and an online comment form is also available at https://nurturenaturecenter.org/the-city-of-eastons-climat/
Has anyone been on the Trail today? Love to see some photos!!
While we aren't able to gather for a Solstice Walk this year, we hope you can join us on December 21st, 2021 to celebrate the Winter Solstice. Peter and Randi Schmidt who create the Arts Trail annual solstice celebration, engaged friends to bring us a 2020 Virtual Solstice! Please enjoy this video as soon as and as often as you wish!
Happy #GivingTuesday! Join us today and help us raise funds for the KSAT and future programming and events to take place on the trail!
Thank you to everyone who has signed up or donated to The Virtual Artful Dash 5K in the past month! Keep those times and photos coming! Runners and walkers, you have today to sign up and to get your times in to be qualified for some awesome prizes we have to give away, thanks to Easton Outdoor Company, Aardvark Sports Shop - Bethlehem and OwowCow!
The Red Sand Project took over a part of the KSAT on Sunday, creating red lines in the cracks of the trail path on Bushkill Drive. The Red Sand Project is a participatory artwork created by Molly Gochman that uses sidewalk interventions and earthwork installations to create opportunities for people to question, connect and take action against vulnerabilities that can lead to human trafficking and exploitation. PAZA, Tree of Life, a new Easton-based Nonprofit, dedicated to the revival and empowerment of Native American Indian cultures, supported the Red Sand Project by creating a community display for the month, which is Native American Heritage Month in Honor of Murder Missing Indigenous Women/Children.
The Virtual Artful Dash is still going on! Support the trail and run or walk along the trail! https://runsignup.com/Ra//Easton/TheKarlStirnerArtsTrail5K
Join the Red Sand Project tomorrow on the trail for this event.
