KICKIN' CANCER WITH KAIT!! Im Kate, the owner and creater of Kate's Soy Candle shop and i am having a fundraiser for my 26 year old daughter Kaitlyn who was diagnosed with Stage 1 RCC which is Renal Cell Carcinoma. Its Kidney cancer. Although MAINLY found in men over 50 to 70 it can be diagnosed in anyone. The medical EXPERTS dont know the exact cause of RCC. In fact she is the youngest patient her surgeon has ever seen or operated on who JUST HAD RCC Sept 25. 2019 the cance...rous portion of Kaitlyn's kidney was successfully removed!! PRAISE GOD!! Even though she'll need future testing yearly.... she is not fully out of the woods yet but This WAS and IS THE GREAT NEWS WE WERE ALL HOPING TO HEAR!! KAITLYN WILL NOT FIGHT THIS ALONE!! SHE HAS PLENTY OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN HER LIFE READY TO HELP HER WITH WHAT EVER SHE NEEDS!! WE ALL KNOW SHE WOULD DO THE SAME FOR ONE OF US!! NOW THE RECOVERY BEGINS! Kaitlyn was born and raised in Philly. Graduated from St.Annes. She was always a beautiful, kind and generous child. Not one unkind word has ever been said about her. Also, anyone that knows her Knows Kaitlyn is the FIRST FRIEND to help you! After my Dad and my kids "father figure" passed away in 2008 Kait stayed with her Grandmom in North Cape May and went to LCMR High School and made many, many friends there and was very active in school activitiesi! She's always LOVED being involved with activities....! After high school She went to get her hairdressers licence and is now a hard working hairdresser in Cape May. This is a job that is very demandong on your body, especially your feet. Kait needs everyday of her Dr recommended 6 week "unpaid" recovery time to HEAL. It may be somewhat longer - She's NOT. to that point yet in her recovery but she is slowly progressing. Which brings me to my FUNDRAISER I want to do something nice for Kait to help make her recovery a little less stressful. I want to try to raise some money for her and her lost wages. I am selling my 18oz. Candle that normally cost $16.00 and askindg $25.00. Half of the cost qill go directly to Kait. She with receive $12.50 for each candle sold.
