My photograph was featured at the Recovery Gallery in the Nittany Mall back in September! Thank you all for you love and support! Those of us in active addiction use drugs and alcohol to mask the feelings of pain, sorrow, stress, and depression. The world around us seems to be complete death and destruction. Just like the driftwood on this beach, we are on this journey, short or long, and sometimes get lost, stuck, broken, and dismissed as useless. However, with the right re...sources we can find recovery. For me, I found love, forgiveness, and true happiness. I’ve accomplished things that I would have never dreamed of achieving. I have gone places that I once thought was impossible. I have built stronger relationships with God, my family, coworkers, and friends. I found the true JOY in life. When given the chance, we find the beauty in all of the wreckage that had consumed our lives. See more

In March 2018 my cousin, Elsa Gantvoort (age 5) was diagnosed with ALL, a form of childhood leukemia. Since then life has changed for the whole family. Her treatments continue at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA, an hour and a half from their home in Mansfield, PA. We are so thankful for all who have been generous in helping with ongoing expenses. There is still a long road ahead. The frequent trips to Danville have taken a toll on their minivan. They need new tires before winter. I am donating this money to bless them and help offset the costs related to her treatment. Thank you and continue to pray for Elsa.
