Katrina's Little Cafè

Friday will be the last day with the Little Cafe. With that being said I would like everyone to join us Wednesday Evening from 6-7pm to come in say farewell and have a cup of coffee. I am forever great full for a lifetime of memories with you all. I hope to see you there for one last see you soon from the little cafe.

This is going to be by far the hardest post I have ever written on this page. I would like to start by thanking each and every person that has been with me and this little cafe over the years. I would also like to say the memories, conversations, ups and downs will forever be in my heart . I started here waitressing for Shirley so long ago and I will never forget the first week I said to her if you ever sell this place please give me the first chance. But with extreme hea...rtbreak I need to announce that we are never going to be The Little Cafe again. It has been sold. I’m sitting here thinking of all the customers that have greatly influenced my life and as I’m typing tears running down my face. I am truly gonna miss all the morning guys harassment and daily conversation, when my alarm would go off at 4 am every morning I hated getting up, never realizing the day would come when I would no longer be doing so....we are planning to have one last 5-11am Coffee only, goodbye day very soon. I want everyone to realize the amount of love I have for you all and if it wasn’t for most of you I wouldn’t be who I am today. You were not just my customers you were and will always be my Little Cafe family, so please never forget that. I also want you all to know I have enjoyed cooking and waiting on you all so very much over the years. Thank you for many years of support and love. I am truly thankful for the time we have all had together... you know there are a few words of advice I have been given during my time here and I’m gonna share those as well. Bud Bryner said to me you everyday on his way out Can you handle this without me it’s been a tough ride without you Bud... and MR.Gilson Smile and the whole world will smile back... cry and cry alone also You kindness and generosity is only exceeded by your good looks gosh I miss all that. As we sat at the Cafe today I was looking at the picnic table thinking it was once full now so empty and my heart feels that way being put in this position to sell but with every door closed is one that opens. I will soon post when I’m having the last coffee it will be a free day no food only coffee and treats. Again thank you all for all these amazing years and perfect memories. You will be dearly missed my heart is broken. Prayers to your entire family

I want everyone to know how much I miss all of you. I am not sure when I am going to be able to reopen the CDC guidelines are 10 people per 500 square feet and at this time we all know I can not do that with the small size of the cafe. Curbside and take out doesn’t work and we all know it’s because the Cafe is about environment the sit down talk and have a good time atmosphere. I also know that a lot of my favorite customers will not want to sit at a distance from one another.... This little place has made it through a lot of tough times and we will keep our faith it will make it through this one. I am praying you are all safe and having a great time with your families. If you are interested in a night of take out dinners please PM me or comment and maybe I can pull that off with the right amount of interest. I’m am very sad we have no races as well Saturday mornings were the best days for the Cafe. Please keep praying and I am hoping for the best in the worst of times. As you all know I am unable to operate right now I will keep everyone updated. We did try curb side didn’t work out for breakfast as expected. I am sorry for this I hope everyone is staying safe in these harsh realities and I am praying for you all as well as being able to open again soon... I miss you all so much and thank you for your support. when we do reopen if we are able I would like to let you all know we have a new addition to our little cafe family the new pastor from the Lutheran church pastor Rick is joining us on Tuesdays, please stop by say hi and have a talk if you need to during these devastating times. He is very helpful and a lot of fun to talk with about anything thank you once again and god bless.
