I’m working on these photo collages to display at my table this Saturday. This is the 1st one I completed and I’m finishing a 2nd one. These are 21 beautiful ...children lost to the choking game. If you think it’s not going on or not happening that often...just look at these beautiful faces. Every single one of them lost their lives to the choking game...some before Evan and some after Evan. Their ages range from 10 to 17. I am very grateful that their parents have allowed me to include their child’s photo but I’m very sad that there is even a reason for this. The reasons for being bullied reported most often by students include physical appearance, race/ethnicity, gender, disability, religion, and sexual orientation. One in five tweens (9-12 years old) has been cyberbullied, cyberbullied others, or seen cyberbullying. Students who experience bullying are at increased risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, lower academic achievement, and dropping out of school. Bullied students indicate that bullying has a negative effect on how they feel about themselves, their relationships with friends and family, their schoolwork, and physical health. Students who experience bullying are twice as likely as non-bullied peers to experience negative health effects such as headaches and stomachaches. Youth who self-blame and conclude they deserved to be bullied are more likely to face negative outcomes, such as depression, prolonged victimization, and maladjustment. See more
