A pioneer in Keeping Philadelphia Weird: Elizabeth Fiend. Her day job is that of a highly qualified librarian at Penn, but she is the anti-Martha (not to say she doesn't keep a lovely home), she writes graphic comics, leads Philly's punk band The Morfiends (sp) with long time husband Alan, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. She is a conscientious citizen of Philly and the world. Think recycling, neighborhood watch, fossil fuel limits--this gal peddles, vegan, education. You fly that Freak Flag, you own it girl.
