I have waited 1 year and 1 month to get to hug my Mom again For those that don’t know she resides in a nursing home near me that was shut down a few days after we celebrated her 80th Birthday on February 29th 2020 So many prayers were being said over the past year to protect her from Covid but she did end up testing positive around Christmas. The great news is she was asymptomatic prayers are answered. ... After getting fully vaccinated by 2/9/21 Today was the first day that they scheduled visits...which of course I took the first day Such an emotional roller coaster over the last year. In the midst of such a busy crazy year in 2020, my focus on growing so many aspects of my life, I feel like I rarely stopped to truly connect with the new relationships that I was blessed to have established or reconnect for that matter on the relationships that mean the most to me . I was simply moving in the moment and way to fast. So this year my goal is to move a little slower allowing me to enjoy each opportunity, conversation, and... live in the present moment.
