I’m SOOOOO EXCITED to be in Maui for my 3rd time for @arbonne’s leadership retreat with all of my fellow NVPs How lucky am I to be able to spend a week in paradise on Arbonne’s dime, but to be able to spoil @mgtravers with a trip to Maui every January?! If you cut a butterfly out of a cocoon it will die. The struggle to emerge is what strengthens its wings and if you prevent that struggle it cannot survive. I’m thankful for my struggles and I’m ready to fly. Look out. There is a new Kendyll in town.

Our son was flying from Lexington, Ky to Philadelphia to see his girlfriend over fall break. I was talking with my husband about how we hadn’t seen him in a few weeks and joked that we should drive to Philadelphia and meet them for lunch. We then planned a trip to visit the New England states to see the fall colors and to see the last 4 states that I needed to complete my 50 states (after we met them for lunch of course). Counting the days, weeks, and months to a vacation ...that you planned can be exciting and rewarding... but maybe the best trips are the ones that you decide taking on a days notice. Finding that spontaneity that you enjoyed when you were younger and more carefree. You CAN have that freedom again, you CAN live your life the way that you want to. No worry about vacation days, or bosses, or Mondays. Well, Mondays still exist... their just not the Mondays that people dread. But to have a life like this you have to take a chance and you have to believe in yourself. I am teaching people daily how to make this happen!! Who’s next? See more
