We have some final prep work going on tomorrow morning at the course, with a casual practice round to follow.Hope to see some people out at the course.

Anyone lose a mini?

Meeting at the park tomorrow (9/1) at 9am(ish) to do some course work in preparation for the upcoming tournament. If you'd like to contribute, just meet in the main parking lot. Items needed, weed-whacker, shovels, lopping shears, wheelbarrow. Possible round of golf to follow.

Did a post winter walk-through of the course today and surprisingly the only casualty was one tee sign got knocked over. Which we assume was a result of snow being plowed into it. Course is relatively dry and in good condition. We hope to see a lot of people out this year.

From our neighbors... Great News, through the cooperation and support of the Dave & John Harvey, Prompton Lake Disc Golf Association, and The Friends of Prompton who have welcomed us with open arms to host the first disc golf tournament to be held at Prompton in quite some time. We have a first class facility here and look to make it even better by replacing the well worn tee box padding. The proceeds from this tournament will benefit this project. Kennedy Park Doubles 2014 - Results Despite the rain, we had one of our best turnouts to date. We had 17 teams show up to battle in the wet and wind. 36 holes were played with a par of 108. Pro:... We want to thank everyone that came out today to play the course, even though the weather was not on our side. I think even despite the rain everyone had a good time and we were able to raise a little bit of money to put towards the course. Things are still drying out and we'll have some results posted up tomorrow.

There might be a slight change in plans to the layout for the Kennedy Park Doubles Event. Is anyone coming to the event able to bring a basket with them? Looking for metal pins, not canvas. Possibly need 6.
