22 U.S. veterans commit suicide every day. To help raise awareness of suicide & mental health issues among veterans. Preston’s Hung Gar (Kong’s Siu Lum Pai , PA Branch) will be doing 22 push-ups a class for 22 classes. We were nominated by Sifu Rosa Trenado.... We nominate Sifu Derrick Johnson and his Disciples of Death.

Classes begin again, Wednesday, 5pm - 6:30pm on Wednesday.

Master Kevin Preston (Kong’s Siu Lum Pai, PA Branch) using Indian clubs for training. This type of training increases the flexibility in the wrist and is included to Hung Gar training for both weapons and open hand techniques. Please note; the grip of the hand must remain closed, because the opening of the hand will reduce the flexibility work. The weight of the clubs Master Preston is using -- 5lbs. Start light and work from there. The weight is not important, but the flexibility and range of motion of the wrist is.
