Miss Ashley worked at KA while attending University of Penn where she studied nursing. We loved having Ashley as part of our KA family. She always came into work with a huge smile and loved working with all of the children at the center. Yesterday Miss Ashley’s childhood home in Cranberry Estates that is still occupied by her family suffered a devastating fire. Her brother and father got out safely but her mom (who suffers from MS) was airlifted to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. A go fund me has been set up to help out the family with many of the upcoming expenses that they will endure. Our Character Essentials theme for May was We are responsible. Children in our classrooms learn all about how responsibility shows independence and conscientiousness.
