Kids Night at Baps Motor Speedway

I cannot believe that 2020 Kids Night is in the books already! The way the last 4 months have gone, there was much uncertainty if this event would even happen! To my amazement, what I thought would be no more than 100 or so kids to show, turned into the biggest Kids Night yet, since I have taken over in the last 4 years! I just wanted to reach out and say Hello to everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted because well, like everyone else, I’ve been stuck at home, trying to find a new routine in our everyday lives. Having the boys home with me daily, working every other week, and trying to find a new norm has been, well exciting, frustrating, stressful, and actually quite welcoming. It has given my family a chance to slow down and enjoy us as a family! As we slowly start to get back o...n our feet, hopefully in a few weeks, I look forward to Kids Night at the track this year. I haven’t been able to get out to do anything much yet this year, but can’t wait till I can. We are right under 4 months away and of course I am excited to have our five divisions back again with the Start Em All Feature event! Hopefully I will see ya’ll at the track again real soon!! My apologies for not going Live Sunday for the drawing from the toy donations at Racing Xtravaganza! I will be going live tonight around 7pm!

Update on the dunk tank, Jorji Sweger is replacing James Snow from 3-3:15!! The Kids Night tent will be set up in the turn 4 grandstand area, as well as the Dunk Tank. Tomorrow is the big day! The weather looks beautiful and things are set in place for another fantastic Kids Night at BAPS Motor Speedway! I hope you are all as ready as I am! I am so excited to announce that Turn 5 Turn Around will be on hand at this years Kids Night event at BAPS Motor Speedway. They will be doing driver interviews, kids interviews, and maybe a few other surprises too! The event begins at 3pm. There will be a list of drivers that will be in the dunk tank and who is being interviewed later this week! Less than a week away now!

Things are finally starting to fall into place! Kids Night at Baps Motor Speedway will be held on August 8th from 3p to 5p as scheduled! This is a 5 division evening with the Start Em All Features! On hand will be the Super Sportsman, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Xtreme Stocks, and Central PA Legends. Everything will remain the same for this year including the dunk tank, goodie bags, bike races, meet & greets, favorite driver awards in each division, and lots of fu...n! The only thing changing is that I cannot fulfill my normal goal of seeing every kid leave with a prize. I hope everyone can understand that with the pandemic this year, it’s tough for me to reach out to businesses that are struggling to help with donations! But.....there will still be prizes! My goal is to have some prize winners spread out through out the goodie bags! For the bike races, there will be 4 age groups. Each child that is racing needs to bring their own bike and they MUST wear a helmet to participate! No exceptions! I am planning on doing the driver bike races as well, so make sure you talk to your favorite driver and remind them to bring their own bike or borrow your bike ! Dunk tank....looking for drivers to give up 15 minutes of their time to let the kids get you wet in the dunk tank! The time slots will run every 15 minutes from 3p to 5p. Reach out to me if you are interested, or tag your favorite driver you would like to see in the dunk tank, below! Lastly, if anyone is able and willing to donate, PLEASE reach out to me ASAP! I want to make sure these goodie bags are little extra special this year! We are 3 weeks away from the event, so time is dwindling quickly!
