Today at 1:30 is our Online Start Here Family Experience for parents and their K-4 kids to discover the greatest story of Jesus. This experience is designed to empower you with answers and resources to guide your kids to ask Jesus to be their Forever Friend. We know that kids are ready for this milestone at any time so if your kids are asking questions, plant the seeds and be ready.

It's exciting to think about the day when our kids will make the decision to trust Jesus with their lives and ask him to be their Forever Friend. But before that time comes, we have to determine when our kids are ready to think about making that decision. Check out this article to see if your kids are ready!

Aldan was watching his kidVenture Island Online Gathering and heard that if you have questions about following Jesus, let your parents know about the Start Here Family Experience. He asked us if we could sign up. We attended Start Here as a family, and at the end, the next steps were shared with us so that we could feel prepared to help Aldan ask Jesus to be his Forever Friend. After the Experience, Aldan asked Jesus to be his forever friend! He was so excited that he shared ...it with his Online kidGroup Leader, Danielle, and all his friends. The Leaders and Staff at kidVenture Island sent him this incredible Congratulations Box filled with a special bookmark to remember the date he prayed. The bookmark has verses that he can look up when he has different feelings. The box also included a devotion book and a bookmark for us (his parents) to pray for him. It was a great way to celebrate this milestone. Since then, Aldan has shown more interest in learning about Jesus on his own. He has been reading his favorite book of devotions, Indescribable, every night and writing down his favorite verses in his special journal. When it comes to being a parent, fewer things are more difficult than waiting to see the fruits of our labor. We want our kids to be potty-trained, obedient, kind, generous and hard-working. These groups are designed to be just like their small group on the weekend. We have Leaders ready to connect about what they learned from their Online Gathering.
