Please allow your camper to bring a stuffed animal to Science Camp tomorrow. They will make their own parachute for their animal and then watch as it is dropped from a 100 ft. fire truck ladder. Please make sure that it is NOT one of their favorite animals. It is possible (especially with this week's weather) that the animal will get dirty. We've never had one carried away by the wind, but it's a possibility. I can not guarantee that it won't happen. Other than the weather, a fire call could change the scheduling of this activity. Please understand that it will be cancelled if the trucks and firefighters have an emergency or if the weather is a problem.

From helping with robotics and programming to assisting in the lab and on the field, our volunteer leaders help with activities and make camp fun for our science learners. Volunteers must be 14 or older. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours for high school or scouting or just to help spread a love of science to the children in our community. You can volunteer for a day or two or the whole week (whatever fits your schedule). Volunteers will be provided with signed documentation of your hours worked. Contact Denise at [email protected] or 610-935-1378 if you'd like to volunteer this summer. Camp runs M-F June 22-26, 2020 from 7:30-3:00.
