It's been hard to make new friends during the pandemic. I went online browsing for things to do on the Laser machine and ran across the pattern for this little guy. I thought to myself, why not make a new friend and also give the Laser a workout and see what it can do. I realize now that no matter what type of friend that you make, there's a lot of time invested. It's also a plus when you make a friend that listens to everything that you say and agrees with you all of the time. Having them bring you a cup of coffee from time to time is also a plus.

I made my wife Sharon this butterfly thing-a-ma-bob with her name on it to set on her desk at work. I'm sure it will help tell her apart from her co-workers when people come in for assistance. I'm thinking this job pretty much justifies the purchase of this new awesome Lightsaber,.....I mean,.....Laser machine. Right honey?

I spent some time on Saturday learning how to engrave with the Laser. I have a young friend who is really into Aquaman so I decided to make an Aquaman display for his room. This is the end result. I'm thinking of trying some different color wood stains to enhance the design. I took a picture of it before hand just in case I trash it.

After 3 weeks of waiting, I finally had a chance to setup and run our new laser.

Our new Laser cutter and engraver arrived safely on Friday. Took it out of the box today to check everything out. I'm pretty excited to start working with it. We upgraded it to be able to engrave cylindrical items ( glasses, mugs etc. ) We also upgraded it to 45 watts so that we can cut thicker items. I'm thinking I better ask Santa for a fire extinguisher this year for Christmas just in case I get a little carried away.

Just placed an order for a new Laser Cutter / Engraver. Looking forward to be able to offer our customers this new in-house service!
