Did you know new movements can strengthen kids' gross motor skills? In Kindermusik, giving little ones the confidence to explore movement is a key part of the experience.

There's HOPE in the new. Get outside this week, and see if you and your little one(s) can find something new growing in your neighborhood. Or try going on a "listening walk" - you see how many things you can hear on your walk. (If you like, you can each take a little notebook and pencil and draw what you hear as you go for your walk. Then compare notes when you get home to see what each of you heard! Were you drawn to different things? Did you hear some of the same things?) It's great to have an excuse to get outside, enjoy nature, take a bit of time away from the usual daily grind and de-stress a bit, and learn in the process! - Keren

Manipulation = the ability to hold something with one hand (like a set of keys or a crayon). You might think it comes naturally, but it actually takes a lot of practice! We use stimulating instruments and props to foster these skills, and teach parents how to continue the experience at home.
