Meet the artist Monday! Today is the lovely inside and out Kara Rose. Kara Rose, originally from Bradford, Pa is the owner /artist for Karaline. A studio based in Lancaster county, specializing in custom art such as pet portraits, handmade gifts & illustrations. Karaline was a passion and dream of Kara’s and became her full-time career in June of 2019. Prior to being a freelance artist, Kara was an art teacher. A graduate of Edinboro and Millersville University. Over the past... 32 years, she taught grades K-12 in Girard, New Castle, Dover and Lititz. Kara is inspired by spiritual, natural & historical imagery and text. Known as a mixed media artist, she creates collages and textiles. Working directly from photos her clients provide, she is able to do custom pet portraits, illustrations & graphic designs. Having an understanding we all have a talent from God. She shares her faith in knowing that each of us is born to create. My gift is your gift and In a world where I have the freedom to be anything, it’s an honor to connect to another’s soul she claims. God-winks-are some of the most difficult times but I know HIS plan cannot be underestimated. Taking this hand of Faith has been creation of Karaline- a home based studio and online store @Karaline.net. Kindred Collections is her only retail space where her work, antiques & vintage finds can be bought. Kara shares a vision of handmade, local and woman owned businesses that make our communities very exclusive and worth investing in kindred artisan spirits such as Dena and Julie. Her product line now includes; notecards, journals, paintings, digital prints, old fashioned wool trees and specially decorated bottled blessings.
