Kindred Hospice was honored to help coordinate a special "Hero's Welcome Home" for a very dear patient and Veteran, Vernon Brumbaugh. He was nominated by our team in collaboration with his loving family. He was chosen to be the recipient of a very high honor, a Quilt of Valor. The Quilts of Valor Foundation's mission is to cover Veterans touched by war with a comforting and healing Quilt of Valor. Thank you so much, Vernon, for your service and sacrifices for our great Nation. It is because of you that we enjoy the many freedoms we have today. It was an honor and privilege to have been able to present you, Vernon Brumbaugh, with a Quilt of Valor. #WeHonorVeterans
