Buying new air packs means it’s time to practice. Over 30 Members, career, stipend and volunteers gathered Monday night before placing the new packs in service. Using a vacant dwelling owned by the municipality, crews were offered smoke filled rescue exercise and RIT work. Great teamwork by Upper Merion Fire & EMS

Last night, Members from King of Prussia and Swedeland were on station for the new Scott air pack training and fit testing. The airpacks are scheduled to be placed into service sometime over the next few weeks.

King of Prussia VFC was pleased to host the Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Assn meeting tonight with 32 attending in our socially distanced training facility and 22 on line. Great people, great meeting!!

Tower 56 assisted with the removal of a patient who had a medical incident on the roof of a building this morning.

Last night engine 56 and 56-4 responded to a report of a truck fire at the Valley Forge towers. After arrival, it was determined to be debris in the bed of the truck that had caught on fire and crews used a booster line to extinguish. Units were clear in 30 minutes.

Even tho he wont be able to stop or hand out candy canes, he'll be hard to miss while visiting the roads and neighborhoods in our first-due service area.
