Beautiful day for some frost-seeding trials at the research farm. With the upcoming temperature fluctuations, it is the perfect time to frost-seed existing pastures with legumes. The freeze-thaw cycle as well as the spring rains, works the seed into the ground and creates seed to soil contact necessary for germination.
