Just a reminder we are open today until 4pm as well as tomorrow (Saturday, Feb 15) from 10-4. Stop by to see what we have left. The money will be given to my sister to help with her expenses as she is planning to do volunteer work next year in Greece. If you don't need anything from our store and would still like to donate you are welcome to drop it off at the shop. This is the pretty side of a city here in Greece. Since the refugee camp is on a military base I cannot take any photos there but it is definitely not this beautiful. Many people only having about 12 hrs, at the most, of electricity and so many are living in tents in about 40* weather this evening. I'm grateful for a roof over my head and solid walls tonight - many do not have that...

So some of you were wondering what pieces of furniture that we have left. Here are a few photos. The fundraiser sale is this weekend Thursday through Saturday (14-16) and next weekend Thursday through Saturday unless the weather gets too messy. The fundraiser is to support my sister Missy and the work in Greece with the refugees. I posted some of the info on what she does in an earlier post. Thank you for your support. - Jennifer

Want one more chance... our Burgettstown store is open today and will be open through Saturday from 10-4. We will also possibly be open next weekend (weather dependent) from Thursday through Saturday from 10-4. This is going to be a bit lengthy... the refugee crisis began back in the summer of 2015. People escaping from unlivable conditions, trying to get themselves and their families to a safe place. Risking their lives to get to safety because staying where they were was... not safe. My sister, Missy, first came to the island of Lesvos, Greece back in the summer of 2016. I am currently in Greece and I am beginning to understand some of her passion to help these people. Just yesterday a boat came in that lost a 9 year old girl due to the rough waves as of today I don't believe they have found her. This family has faced immense lost already and now this. We are called to stand in the gap. We are called to help and offer them hope. So we are doing a fundraiser for my sister Missy as she plans to return longterm and as all are volunteer positions we would like to help her with her costs.
