Six years ago today, we made history when we became the first gas company in the UK to use a robot to repair a live gas pipe. Our CISBOT robot works underground... inside our pipes, letting us upgrade the old pipe from the inside without needing to turn off gas supplies to homes or businesses. As well as less disruption for residents, the robot also reduces disruption for road-users as it travels up to 426 metres underground from just one excavation. Who needs a casing driver?

Back from the PGWA Summer meeting where fracking (using just high pressure water) was demonstrated. This technology drew a lot of interested drilling contractors.
