This was actually pretty fun to install.

I really wish i would have taken a before photo. I met these people through my friends and business partners Yeager's flooring. Brian asked if i wouldn't mind coming out and checking it out for them. When i got there i was pretty shocked initially and then my gears started grinding. Apparently 4 attempts were made at installing lvp over a substrate that had too much deflection. An attempt was made at self leveler. It didn'thelp much The customers had to buy new materials. Ki...cked The current installer off the job and put me in charge. We used about 400 lbs of self leveler in one pour to minimize the deflection in the compromised area. It dropped 1 1/2 inches in 8 ft. We know how to do this. Funky floors can be remedied. We got the job finished and looking beautiful within 2 days. The carpet unfortunately wasnt stretched in at all. The previous installer didn't even use track strip. Didn't replace the old pad. Hack it in and just basically shot a ton of staples in 60. Oz carpet. In the bedroom all the heat vents were missed and still covered seams were very visible..it made me sick to my stomach that someone walked away from this calling it complete. Booooo I'm very pleased to say out of all this i met some awesome people. Made new friends in the business and will be working together in the future. Thank you everybody and good night! See more
