900+ dinners, 35 volunteers, 30+ hours, 6 days, 2 dinners, and 1 bingo. Those are just some of the numbers that we had this past week. We thank you all for the continued support that we have received not only this weekend, but this past year. We wouldn't be able to operate without you. As you can see, the job is not always about fire fighting, there is a lot more to be done to be able to serve your community. If you're ever interested in volunteering, please contact your local fire department for more information. Everyone is always looking for help.

Thursday Night Bingo in the Pavillion! Come join is as we try again. Those who attended last week enjoyed it! Doors open at 6 pm and early birds start at 7 pm . Kitchen with limited menu will be open at 6 as well. We can handle the rain, just not a bad storm so come out and play! We will do our best... Kitchen Menu this week is Hambirgers in sauce, Hot Dogs with or without Kraut, Chips, Nachos and Cheese, Candy, Water, Pop, and Free Coffee as usual!

Today the department retired our 1984 Chevy Pumper2. The truck ran out of our sub station on the lower end of the township. In service now is a Freightliner/Pierce Engine. Hopefully this truck will serve our community for another 36 years.

So the first outdoor bingo in the pavilion is in the books. We only had 27 people and they all want to come back again next week. The rain came at 6 pm and it probably scared several people away...shame because it turned out to be a beautiful evening...cool, slight breeze, and happy players. Hope to see all of you and more next Thursday assuming we have good weather again!

BINGO IS BACK!!! Bingo this Thursday 8/27 OUTSIDE in the Pavillion weather permitting. Doors and kitchen open at 5:30 Bingo starts at 7:00. We will have limited seating as we will be social distancing, and a limited menu from our kitchen. All paper bingo, no chips and hardbacks. This is our first attempt at this so dress appropriately and bear with us as we try something new for you! Suggest bringing something to hold cards in event of wind. Watch this page for updates or possible cancellation due to weather. Feel free to comment if you are planning to come!

Drill this evening was on practicing some over the hill rope rescue techniques.
